Giant Marshmallows, the Korean Countryside in Infrared – Part 4

Giant Marshmallows, the Korean Countryside in Infrared - Part 4

This photo depicts a scene that can commonly be seen every Autumn in the Korean countryside. Once the fields are laid barren and all the rice is harvested, we’re left with these giant marshmallows. I’ve never asked what these are all about, but I’m assuming that they are giant bundles of harvested rice. Anyone know for sure? Anyhow, this image was captured with a Rolleiflex Automat A on expired ( 9/2010 ) Efke IR 820 film, Hoya R72 filtered and personally developed in the darkroom with D76. © Patrick Bresnahan
